Join Mass Young Birders at Halibut Point State Park in Rockport, MA for a morning of birding along the coast!

Halibut Point State Park is known for it's ocean views and variety of habitats along the coast. We will be visiting Babson Farm Quarry and using some of the ocean overlooks to find sea ducks and shorebirds.


WHERE: Halibut Point State Park Parking Lot - 4 Gott Ave, Rockport, MA 01966


WHEN: Saturday, February 17, 10:00 AM - 12 PM


WHAT TO BRING:

  • Layers

  • Water

  • Winter Weather Apparel - it might get cold!

  • Comfortable Walking Shoes

  • Binoculars (we have loaner binoculars for participants to use during the program)


ACCESSIBILITY: This event is free. There are graded hiking trails as well as a visitors center with restrooms. Parking is free.


Registration is required for this free event.
